01/2013- 01/2015 Local Data Evaluator. Anchor Mentor Google Maps, (Ireland)

In this job I enjoy myself everyday. In not even two years I have learnt how a big new technological company like this works and how to adapt myself to constant challenges.

Surrounded by people from all over the world, I have grown professionally, specializing myself in this new amazing type of customer which is the "customer online". I performed management tasks, coordinating the mentors of the staff and carrying out different projects that allowed me to be creative and proactive.

Google Maps  opened  showed me the meaning of working in a real company of the 21st century.

09/2012- 12/2012 Customer Service Agent at Covidien, (Ireland)

I worked in Covidien during my first four months in Dublin. Here I found out that I was able to adapt myself fast and successfully. It meant a step forward for my English, my time management, my capability of working under pressure and it confirmed that I am a true team player.

Here I was really in touch with the needs of the customers and I was able to improve my skills while assisting them. It was my first time working in a multinational company in a multicultural environment.

I found myself speaking Italian and Portuguese again. It was such a great start for my life in Ireland.

02/12- 08/2012 Community Manager at NGO IandĆŖ oca. Madrid (Spain)

I consider myself as a social person, solidary and conscious about other people's problems. I was trying to join my skills and my passions for a long time and I got it when an acquaintance talked to my about IandĆŖ Oca.

He was trying to develop an educational project in a very poor area of Brazil and they need some person to design their communication strategy. I had the opportunity of create their logo, the web, the blog and take over the social network. I had to get in contact with sponsors and administrations and we got to set an office there and carry out interesting workshops.

I had to move to Ireland and I left the project, but I remember that experience like one of the most rewarding of my life.

10/11-05/12 and 10/10-05/11 ā€“ Community Manager and Librarian at Culturalactex. Madrid (Spain).

I had never worked with children. I studied a Master of Teaching thinking about getting the knowledge that I will be able to use in future positions as a trainer, coach...who knows?

Thanks my certificate and my experience in a newspaper, I got picked up to manage a library in a High School in Madrid. My tasks were to call providers, control the outcomes and incomes of the books, control the stock and to encourage the students to read. In order to that I opened a blog and I created a scholar newspaper.

Working with teenagers opened my mind and strengthened my patience, something that, with the passing of the time, was very useful tackling difficult situations with customers and colleagues.

01/12-03/12- Copywriter at Kedin.es. Madrid (Spain)

This was a very short experience. I basically learnt how to be accurate with the data and how to deal with demanding customers who just want to appear correctly on the Internet. I had to read about key words, search engine optimization and other things I had not ever have to work with.

I could not imagine I would work in something similar again, but in the main online company in the world.

10/07-10/09- Editor at Editorial la Capital, S.L. A CoruƱa (Spain)

I spent two amazing years in El Ideal Gallego. This was the most important jobs I had as journalist and the experience couldn't be more interesting. I was the responsible of the information about the area around A CoruƱa (my hometown). I polished my writing skills and I saw myself figuring out the way to engage the readers for the first time.

I have to work hard to made contacts,  to research, to be long time on the phone asking and begging for some headlines, answering and justifying my decisions and calming down angry ā€œsources of informationā€. I knew what was "work under pressure", with very tight deadlines and bosses demanding more in less time.

I met many interesting people and I heard about amazing histories that I will never forget and that are part of what I am now.

06/06-09/06- Editor at Chanel Localia TV CoruƱa. A CoruƱa (Spain)

I worked in Localia while I was studying. I loved the rhythm of the television and It made me more proactive and bright. I had to cover the information of my city, to attend press conferences, to create reports, to get interviews and edit pieces of information for TV news.

Skills I developed: time management, resolve unexpected problems, manage myself in different environments and be proactive learning new tools and workflows.

In Localia TV I took responsibility of importance of the accuracy of the data and I got used to always verify the information provided.

01/07-05/07- Radio Editor at Radio Onda Aranjuez. Madrid (Spain)

This local radio gave me the opportunity to bring my creativity into play. I was asked to make up audio reports, to look for interviews and choose topics for a daily show.

I wrote radio scripts and I had to be on the phone for long time getting sponsors and closing meetings. It was a great beginning in media and in my working life.

10/05-03/06- Postman. Correos. Aranjuez (Spain).

One of my first jobs. I basically had to organize the mails before being collected and delivered. Office tasks, with a heavy workload in a very short time.

Enjoyable and useful as starting my working life, with deadlines and with many different duties. It was really interesting to get a closer look at this professionals, always present in our lives, but not that well known.
